Womens Sexy Wonderlicious Super Hero Costume

Start shopping early for Halloween costumes – or just a fun date night!

I was recently invited to do a review of a costume from Wholesale Costume Club. They said I could pick one of the awesome choices that they had in their superhero section. I chose to review the Women’s Sexy Wonderlicious Super Hero Costume…… ( kinda like Wonder Woman, in my opinion). I was excited to see it, so it was nice that it came super fast in the mail.

I was very surprised by the quality of this costume. The Women’s Sexy Wonderlicious Super Hero Costume is a stretchy material, much like a bathing suit, but it doesn’t look to be that kind of material. I loved how it had stretch to it, since I am a bigger girl. It hugged me in the right places, and hung well. It feels comfortable on. I can definitely see myself wearing this to a Halloween Party and not being self-conscious. I do have to say that if I was to gain anymore weight it would probably be a little too short, but that is a body type issue – not a product issue. One that can be solved by not gaining weight (or wearing a pair of shorts underneath.

I also love the accessories that go with this costume:costume As you can see you get a head-piece - which feels amazing on – wrist guards, and a golden lasso. The red boots are not included with this outfit, but can be purchased. They look absolutely adorable, and I will be purchasing them!

All in all, I give this costume HIGH marks (or 2 thumbs up if you would rather). What is even better, is that this costume only costs 36.98 for non members. Or you can become a member for a year for only $5 (NO auto renewal) and snag this costume for only $31.99 – Plus be able to get the membership discount on tons of other costumes for the rest of the year. So this Halloween – or any day that ends with “Y” – costume will make you, and you family super heroes!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

The My Favorite Martian Bloghop is finally here!

So the day is finally here! Today, is the My Favorite Martian Bloghop. When I started thinking about which martian/alien/life form from another planet is my favorite, ET was the first to spring to mind. But then I thought harder and realized I like ET, but he is not my favorite. So, I continued thinking, and do you know what I realized? There are a LOT of Aliens that I like. Superman, Supergirl, Martian Man Hunter, The entire character base of Star Wars, Alf, Mork, the aliens from Earth Girls are Easy, Transformers…..seriously the list goes on and on. Finally, I was down to 2 favorites….both from the Star Trek Universe, Spock and Q.

So I thought and thought about it. While I do love Spock, ( specially Leonard Nimoy’s version) and his logical thinking, in the end Q won out. Why? Because he is HILARIOUS!

Q (played by John de Lancie) appeared on 3 different Star Trek series  Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager, and in my opinion, those episodes tended to be the highlight of the season. Q comes from the Q Continuum, where Q and every other Q live. Yes each one is called Q, however this Q is definitely unique. He is considered to be a rebel by the other Q, since he causes so much trouble in the universe. The Q are considered Omnipotent…..they understand how the universe works and can manipulate it to their will.

Q always showed up at the least convenient times. He caused HUGE amounts of trouble. In the end it always worked out, one way or another.

Q was completely OBSESSED with Captain Picard. He was the captain that Q tortured the most. Of course all you have to do is listen to Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) and you have a chance of becoming completely obsessed as well.

However, Captain Picard wasn’t the only Captain he obsessed about. He tried to mate with Janeway…. tried being the key word.

So that is why Q is my favorite, because he is a hilarious trouble maker. If you are a Star Trek fan than you already know Q. If you aren’t then you just learned about one of the most awesome “Puck” like characters in the Star Trek universe.

Please take a moment to hop around to the other blogs and find out who their favorite aliens are…. it should be a blast.

I would also love if you would leave a comment letting me know who your favorite alien is! Oh, and if you haven’t signed up for my newsletter yet you can in the left hand side bar near the top ——> over there. You will only get notices when I post something new…..and I would NEVER sell anyones information.

Geek Girl Dythia’s new favorite shows

Geek Girl Dythia’s new favorite shows

So I have decided that this fall/spring season on TV have had the best new shows. I am in love with Go On, Guys with Kids, and The Neighbors. All three are excellent 30 minute comedy shows. I was very disappointed with Revolution and 666 Park Avenue. I could only stomach a few episodes of each. I really wanted to like 666 Park Avenue, but the story just didn’t rivet me to come back week after week. Revolution had huge plot holes and I just couldn’t connect with any of the characters, so my interest on that show died. Beauty and the Beast was a bust for me, but I do love Arrow. Arrow is based on the comic book hero the Green Arrow….they have taken an old story and twisted it in  a way that draws me in.

As far as shows on their second season or more – I am still in LOVE with Once Upon a Time. Every week they leave me begging for more.  Raising Hope is a gem of a 30 minute comedy show. The story is well written and it is actually funny. Glee is a guilty pleasure of mine, however this season has left me not really caring about the cast. Some of the stories are still alright, but I just don’t see and feel the dynamic with the new cast, as I did with the old.

Well, I just wanted to give you guys an update on what I thought of the new shows. If you get a chance, turn on your satellite tv, and get to watching some of this seasons new shows.

A Fun Podcast with an Interview of Jeff Heimbuch

Follow Me on Pinterest

Did you know Come Home Disney  has a podcast? Well they do – and it is AWESOME!

On this weeks podcast they interviewed Jeff Heimbuch from micechat.com and the communicore weekly podcast. He is also the author of a book called It’s Kind of a Cute Story. The book is all about one of the original Disney Imagineers Rolly Crump and tells his stories.

This podcast episode has some great tid bits of information about Rolly
and Walt. So make sure to stop by and give it a listen.

I love listening to podcasts while I do my daily computer work. I just pull up the podcast I want to hear and minimize it, so that I can continue buzzing around on my computer, but I also get some fun commentary on different subjects (it depends on which podcast I am listening to :) )
